In today’s society there is negativity all over the place it’s becoming increasingly hard to stay away from it. Social media allows for us to be targeted way easier than before and it so important to keep your spirits up and stay happy. Here are my top tips to stay happy and positive.
- If any people in your life like friends or family are having negative influences on your life you need to distance yourself from them. As hard as it is you need to do it. You will benefit so much from it! Surround yourself with positive people and those who bring out the best in you.
- Withdrawal yourself from social media if you are feeling down. Shut it down; log it off, DELETE IT IF YOU HAVE TO! Just don’t scroll through your news feed when you are down because you will start to compare. People only put their best selves out online, no one wants people to see the horrible bad things, and they put their best self forward. Moral of the story if you feel sad or down social media is not the cure.
- Do things that you enjoy and make you happy! Whatever it is, it could be craft, dance, sport, blogging, photography, reading, make up, watching movies, cooking or even gardening. Whatever you enjoy it because it will make you happy and keep you positive.
- Put your best foot forward. Making yourself feel amazing on the outside will reflect back on the inside and visa versa. Even if you’re feeling really bad and having a bad, bad day try as hard as you can to stay happy. Everyone has bad days but try to have as many good days as you can.
